Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is the practice of treating patients as individuals by addressing the physical, environmental, lifestyle, attitudinal, and emotional aspects of health. Naturopathic medicine will help in finding and treating the cause of a disease using a variety of therapies.

Arsh Deol graduated with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and graduated with a Specialized Honors Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology) and Certificate in Athletic Therapy from York University. Arsh has worked numerous placements in acute and non-acute care settings, as well as working as the lead student therapist for numerous sport teams at the university level, including football, basketball, rugby, volleyball, and hockey. This has allowed Arsh to become comfortable in assessing and treating individuals who present with sport related and non-sport related injuries or problems.

Arsh examines the body as a whole from a biological, psychological, and social perspective to determine the underlying cause of pain. He utilizes a functional assessment approach to determine areas lacking mobility, stability, strength and/or endurance. From a treatment standpoint, Arsh will implement manual therapy approaches such as soft tissue and joint mobilization techniques to help you move better and combine that with strength and conditioning exercise for long lasting results.

Arsh currently holds certifications in soft tissue release, first responder, movement and performance optimization. He looks to expand his tool box by obtaining certification in dry needling, strength and conditioning, and expanding his manual assessment and treatment skills

Kevin graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science Specialized Honours (Kinesiology and Health Science), along with a Certificate in Athletic Therapy, and later completed a Diploma in Massage Therapy from Ontario College of Health Technology.

Kevin has worked with a variety of teams and athletes at the youth and junior levels, and has focused his time in recent years working with runners at all levels, as well as lacrosse and track and field athletes at the university, national and international levels. He has volunteered as a therapist with host medical teams at several national and international track and field meets, including the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. Kevin was also the team therapist for the Canadian men’s junior volleyball team at the 2015 U21 world championships and for Athletics Canada at the 2023 World Mountain and Trail Running Championships.

Robert is a registered physiotherapist with a special interest in assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal-related injuries and conditions. Robert earned his master’s degree in physiotherapy at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario in 2021.

Robert has a special interest in movement therapy/exercise therapy and is currently taking Advanced Movement Therapist (AMT) level 1 course.
